Exactly. I just don't find arguments about Johnson's twitter use being a good example for CAP students particularly confidence building about the opinion of the CAP booster. In fact, I didn't find Johnson's constant tweeting useful or to be a dialogue between stakehoders and an administrator.

As opposed to all of the other stuff on Twitter? The whole point of Twitter is to be moronic, shallow, and self-promotional.
Hmm, I find (properly vetted) Twitter accounts to be really useful for breaking on the ground news in my field. I'd never know so quickly or in such detail about incidents in CAR, Sudan, Syria, etc. But, you have to pick the right people to follow….
I also find Twitter quite useful for advocacy.
MCPS, however, provides nothing useful via Twitter except, IMO.

If you don't believe me get some of the print matter they put out and checkout the quality.
I know, I know, some of you will find the quality is excellent. That is part of the problem with MCPS today, we hold them to a lower standard.

From waht I've heard she has taken that philosophy to Blair. I am not surprised that her supporters think her use of social media is a "great role model for CAP students." The bad English certainly supports the theory that standards are going down.
Seriously, don't think lauding Johnson as a role model makes Blair programs, particularly CAP attractive to anyone.
