As for immediate off-the-shelf needs, reduced fat cheese its have the same nutritional profile as goldfish crackers except that they have that salt/melted tire flavor you crave.

I make Parmesan crisps with a bit of caraway seed as a garnish for homemade tomato soup. Delicious!
