I want to do this, but my weakness is bread. How are you handling that?
I am not the pp, but when I first cut the carbs I had a lot of cravings. They all went away within a week but the first three days were tough.
I am the PP above and I agree with the withdrawal. I also gave up dairy and caffeine at the same time. First few days/week were rough with headache and cravings.
Re: bread. Some people would say I cheated, I will say I survived - but I made paleo muffins with coconut flour. I make a dozen muffins at the beginning of the week (banana and cranberry mostly) and, even though they were small, it was still similar enough to what I was used to to help me get through the urge. I just needed something to go with my tea in the morning.
For me it was easier to give up everything at once and go all in than try to cut back here and there.
And, this may be very vain of me, but I have an AMAZING pair of white pants that I used to wear before my two kids. My goal is to wear them on Mother's Day. I want my old a$$ back.
I just read the thread on office lunch time workouts and it has inspired me to give that a shot next week!
