Careful with the laser for more than a minute or two at a time. It's very easy for dogs to develop OCD/neuroses from laser pointers--you'll notice them start chasing shadows, sunbeams reflecting off watches, barking at sunbeams, etc.
This is so true! Actually just do't use them at all. They blind airplane pilots, too. Lasers bad. Smooth rubber ball good. Google Planet Dog. They have awesome, durable toys.

Put paw balm on your doge's feet and get out there in the weather. Most doges love the cold and snow. They're descended from wolves after all!

We've been throwing his toy down our longest hallway and chasing him around the kitchen. I put his coat on him for a nice longish walk and he was not having any of it. Thanks for the suggestion of doggie day care! My dog is really desperate for some exercise.

We use it whenever we have big plans for the evening so the dog is quiet and zonked out.
