Ihave no interest in setting it. I thought Walter Mitty wasgreat and was surprised Saving Mr Banks was completely ignored by various awards. it was great and thought it would get some nominations.

Perfectly fine but should not be an Oscar contender. Christian Bale's wig's nomination belonged to Joaquin Phoenix or Robert Redford.

I saw it opening weekend (I'm 44, BF 44, DD 16). Everyone really enjoyed it except for me. I wanted to walk out so badly as I was so miserable watching it. The only other movie I ever walked out on was Natural Born Killers. Did not like it at all!

I thought it was a fun movie, but nothing to write home about

I loved it because it reminded me, in look and feel, of the great 70's directors. Brilliant acting by everyone, at turns hilarious and heartbreaking. I also loved Silver Linings Playbook. Can't get enough of this director and can't wait to see what he does next.

I'm 40 and think part of the reason I liked it was because I remember NY looking and feeling like that. It brought back childhood memories. Maybe NY area/ Northeast people might get into it a little more. I know my southern in-laws find NY accents off-putting!

Loved it.

35 years old.

I didn't even know that was Christian Bale acting since I didn't even hear his accent and with the great hair and costume.

Loved all the twists throughout the plot.

It has to be better than "Her." Two hours I'll never get back. Absolutely terrible.

34 here. I liked it. What I didn't understand, was Gravity. Ok, the visuals were cool. But the story and plot seemed unoriginal. I hate how they made Sandra Bullock's character seem like a stupid, helpless "but how do I do that??" woman.

Over 50. Loved the music. The acting was good, but overall a forgettable movie. DH liked it. Don't get the hype.

Loved it! Great story, script, acting, and design. And I disagree that it's forgettable -- the theme of living with authenticity v. conning others and yourselves is fascinating. BTW, I'm over 50, but my sons, in their teens and 20s also loved it. r

I just saw Argo. Perhaps I will post back when I see American Hustle next year. I think Hollywood lacks creativity these days.

Saw it last weekend.

Performances were very good.

The movie as a whole was overhyped and merely good (maybe very good) but not great and not what I expect from an Oscar winning Best Picture. I thought it was tedious through the middle portion and only redeemed itself in the last 5-10 minutes (to the extent it did). An "8" (?), not an Oscar winner.

p.s. I'm over 50.
