HHI $225k. Insurance completely covered IVF-PGD for #1 but not likely this time around now that we live in a different state with different insurance. Planning on spending about $30k to try for #2 with SGF multi-cycle discount. We're still renting and haven't bought a house--saving for the treatment instead of a down payment. We know we are incredibly fortunate to afford to pay out of pocket.

HHI was about @200K when we were doing IVF.
Did 3 cycles at $5k each with insurance.
Had 3 kids (twins and a singleton).
So $15K total.

HHI is about $200K. We spent about $30K to have DC (1 yr old now ). No IF treatment coverage, so costs were shared risk + meds. We will likely try to have a DC #2 in a few years using our 3 frozen embryos. If we aren't successful with those, I don't think we'll be willing to incur the costs of starting with a fresh IVF cycle again.

Our HHI is 200K and we have spent 24K so far. I would spend up to about 40K for dear child #2.

HHI at the time was about $230K. We ended up spending about $25K (plus higher insurance premiums) for DD. This paid for 2 IUIs, 3 fresh IVFs, and 2 FETs. In addition, we paid for a D&C and later scar tissue removal surgery, but we had pretty good coverage for these procedures. Thank goodness for Fed insurance options that include IF.

I think we would have spent at least twice that before reassessing.

HHI is ~$180K and we spent roughly $40K for DC#1 and another $10K for #2. Thank God, we're done. If someone had told me 10 years ago that we would spend this much (or that we'd even be able to) I'd have laughed in their faces.

Dc#2-$70,000 (3 clomid/coitus, 1 iui, 4 ivf, 1 fet)
Dc#3-$30,000 (2 ivf) stillborn
Dc#4-$30,000 (2 ivf) currently pregnant
Total: $140,000

For dc#1-2, hhi=$250,000
For dc#3-4, hhi=$400,000

We have insurance but still spent $10k. HHI is $230k and we were prepared to spend $40k. Pregnant now and expect to be very close to my $20k lifetime limit when we eventually do FET for #2 so we'll save $25k aside when we buy a house so we're ready for that.
