I can't find anything I can eat at Joe's Noodle House. It is all too spicy for me. But I love Americanized Chinese from Meiwah.

I love the Dim Sum at New Fortune.

So asking for the Best Chinese in an area isn't helpful without more data points.

I'm Chinese, speak Mandarin and have no clue what you're referring to.

You're not going to find NY style chinese here.

OP here. I've tried Meiwah and Shanghai Village but not a huge fan of either.

I used to live downtown in NYC and really miss Chinatown. Was hoping to find something close to home but I guess I'll just have to venture further north for good Chinese. Thanks for the recs !

In Bethesda I'd say Shanghai Village is probably the best, although we'll sometimes get take out from other places that are more convenient (including Golden House in the tiny old hot shoppe or whatever it is on Wisconsin).

If you are willing to go to Rockville you can go to places like Sichuan Jin River, or Joe's Noodle House or A & J.

Fu Shing cafe near Montgomery Mall is awesome
