HOw is this possible? I felt like the lab was so quick to discard anything less than perfect. I was never given a chance to weigh in. I chalked this up to their desire to limit the number of cycles and keep their stats high.
They will not freeze anything that is less than perfect, but they will transfer what has developed. I never once made it to blast - both times I transferred, we did it at 3 days due to embryo quality at the 3 day mark (only 3 made it to 3 days on both occasions). I now have a 6-month old from that.

We have been working with the for just over a year and I just want them to be truthful and realistic with us. It is a terrible road to be on, not to be able to stay pregnant, and I just want honesty. Thank is what I am getting with my doctor.
. Dr. Widra is more my personality, and Dr. Greenhouse is uber nice, but I wouldn't call him warm and fuzzy. I did not like Dr. Moon or dr. Osborne. I liked Dr. Nair. (God, I've met too many of their doctors.....)Anonymous wrote:I recommend against Dr Doyle who made a serious mistake at the time of my transfer resulting in lots of emotional grief for me. When my assigned doc tried to figure out an explanation Doyle did not remember me or the conversation we had had.

They are both responsive to email and phone calls but I get the feeling they are not really in charge of my care and just following the SGF protocol which I have followed 3 times with BFN's. They have never altered the protocol and Im wondering if anyone ever considered a different option. I have united health care so I would have to pay OOP for any other clinic.
