Who said an atheist started this thread? Upset because some nasty verses were posted? Blame the authors of the bible for that.

Let's see -- some of the stuff in the Bible is not so nice -- Horrific, in fact. Can't blame atheists for that.

Here's one from the Koran: "Forbidden to you are...married women, except those you own as slaves." (Surah 4:20-, 24-). Nice, huh?

We only need God, and nothing else.

What we believe as Christians is true. God is giving us a gift. Accept the gift and open it up. Don't try to pretend we don't need the gift. There is no downside. Struggle all you like but please, in the end, don't turn away from the light.
