What responsibilities does your boy have, besides going to school?

No, he should not entertain in his room - at least not unless the door is open. No lying on the bed, etc. If this stuff happens when you're not home - well, it does happen. Not saying it won' happen elsewhere. Store condoms in the hall closet with the family's supply of shampoo, soap and toilet paper - in case they're needed.

How would you feel if this was your daughter?

No. They need to respect your house. Are her parents okay with it?

Grandpa renting.

I agree -- OP, you need to decide what you think. Are you ok with them having PIV sex in your house? If not, are you willing to tell your son that it is ok for him to fool around with his girlfriend in your house but not to put his penis in her vagina, and will you trust him to not do it?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, then you should not permit your 17-year-old son to hang out alone in his room with his girlfriend, with the door closed.

Seriously, thank you for sharing commonsense!!

+10000

Also does her parents know you let them do this? Do they do it at her house?

No matter what you tell him he is not going to go "slow". He is going to get as much as she is willing to give up.

If you think of sex as "man's role is to try and get it, woman's role is to say no" -- you're doing it wrong.

OP, you need to grow a backbone.

I'm ok with some fooling around and we've had lots of talks about going slow but I'm not sure if it's ok.

I really, really, really don't want to think about that

No one is saying that. Let them fuck, just not in the house. Disgusting.

If they are going to fuck, they should have access to birth control.

Condoms don't work in a car?

Many teens are too embarrassed to buy condoms or get other types of birth control even if they are having sex. If you think teens (or adults) have that much common sense, you are well on your way of becoming a grandparent.
