OP, you sound very dramatic. You got sick. You will unquestionably continue the domino effect to a few people. No one likes being sick and it's always a pain, but really, get over yourself. Hopefully you'll announce to everyone on the plane that you're sick, and bring facemasks for everyone in a 10 foot radius on the flight. That's the polite thing to do, right?
You don't go to someone else's home sick. You don't bring your sick children into someone else's home.
I will wear a face mask myself. Because it's the polite thing to do.
Seriously, we are all exposed to so many germs all the time. To blame it on a single sick person is not fair or rational.
I have not been sick.
Sick people enter my house
I am now getting sick.
Rocket science? I think not.

But I think getting so riled up about catching a cold from them - that's so benign. Unless OP plans on staying locked in her home without any interaction for the next week, she will pass on the very same cold to a few people - no matter how much she washes her hands or covers her mouth, it's inevitable. OP is just being dramatic.

It's one thing in a long string of asshole behavior on their part. So yes, I'm not too enamored with them.

Maybe I misunderstood the first time, because on second reading, it seems maybe they showed up sick to your house. If that's the case, you couldn't leave, but you could ask them to please go home since they are obviously sick, and you could have a celebration at a later date. Gotta stand up for yourself. If you don't, you can only blame you.
My husband was in denial they were sick. I stayed away from them as much as I could.
So what? You can only talk when your husband says it's all right? It's YOUR health. YOU should have said something.
I did. I can't force them to leave. It's my husband's house too.
Get off the feminist kick. It's not becoming.
Neither is being sick. Taking responsibility for your health is not feminism, it's common sense.
See the bolded? That's the feminazi coming out in you.
You have greater problems than a cold.
Never did I state I did not say anything. Short of calling the police and demanding they leave (which, by the way, would have done nothing because my husband co-owns the house), all I can do is speak. I can't make them go anywhere. That's their choice.
