Subject: What is your 401k return YTD?
Almost 37% in a highly aggressive, 100% stock portfolio. A financial planner suggested I do that back in 2010 for the next 3-4 years, and since I have money invested more conservatively elsewhere, as well as some real estate, I was willing to take the risk.
That turned out to be the best financial advice I've ever received. I need to check back in with her and get her outlook for 2014. I can't imagine this run-up will continue much longer, but it's been a great ride.

Up 26 percent for the year.
Vangaurd keeps suggesting that for my age group (39) I should be another 5 percent invested in stocks in my overall portfolio. Now I'm bummed that I didn't listen! Oh well!
