1100 sf condo. Gas is included in our condo fee, so we only pay electric. about 40-50 in the winter (heat is gas) and closer to 70-80 in the summer (electric AC). Heat stays on during the day, AC gets turned off. (I deal with hot WAY better than I deal with cold).

Electric - about $70 in the winter months, up to $250 a month in the summer.

Gas - the reverse.

House is about 3,300 square feet.

2000 sq ft detached home, $100 electric, $70 gas averaged over the various months. We insulated better in the attic, replaced our aged furnace with an efficient one, and are switching our lights over to all LED bulbs as the old ones go. I also try to remember to unplug the secret energy sinks like all of those power blocks for computers, phones, TV... 2 adults, 2 kids; kids are in school so house is "off" for 6 hours per weekday. The energy hog for us is laundry, I think. I do try to use our laundry line to save on the dryer bill, but I don't always have the time nor agreeable weather.

Wow, I thought we were doing really well on utilities, but apparently not! 1700ish sq ft 3 level townhouse. Gas + electric = $100-200/mo, depending on season. For example, this past month was $115 gas, $83 electric. In the summer the gas bill is usually around $30, electric more like $150. Fall and spring somewhat cheaper. House is used during the day.

1400 Sq ft condo, 1990's construction, three levels. Electric is usually between $50-$150 for heat/AC. (Cheapest, obviously, in the fall and spring.) Gas depends on season too (b/c of fireplace) and ranges from $5 in June to $50 in December. I think we're losing a lot of energy heating our bedroom, which has an entire wall of cheap glass doors. Going to be replacing them with something more energy efficient. We also have on-demand hot H2O.
