Dried fruit seems like a really easy solution (no worries about refrigeration, etc)

We already did D and that mom brought donuts. I was somehow okay with that since it's a morning preschool and donuts, while a treat, are a morning food. Cookies for snack at 11 am somehow rub me the wrong way. Otherwise, date bread.

Donuts and I am usually a healthy mom. Just make sure to get me one with chocolate glaze and sprinkles. You could just get the plain/old fashion with no topping. That's what we give our kids.
