+1. A friend sent a prepaid FedEx box to an ex-boyfriend to get back some expensive things she'd left behind. It worked, but the courier is better here since who knows if MIL would use a prepaid. To the PPs giving OP grief for forgetting stuff. Seriously?

If you had just talked about the dress, I might have had some sympathy. But the fact that you are so bent out of shape about a beach towel is weird. If your stuff is important to you, don't forget it. And, if you do forget it, make your own arrangements to get it back and foot the bill for it.
