Just to clarify: You, as an individual family, contributed $100 towards one teacher's gift.
Is that correct?

A card with sincere thoughts and thanks from my child.

As a teacher, I think I'd feel weird getting an envelope full of cash. If it was a brand new $100 bill in a kid designed card that might be a little more "gifty" or "novelty" I think. But just getting a bunch of $20s and such seems a little bit strange and uncomfortable to me. No idea why, just does.

we gave $50 amazon gift cards to the teacher and to the teacher's aide and $10 starbucks cards to SACC teachers. I wasn't sure what to do about sacc. There are 5 teachers and I basically ran out of money.

I think because it's a group gift it's fine.
