Honestly, OP, there is no way you will know for sure if you will like it until you try it. If you don't like it, bring it to work or give it to your neighbors.

Get Hoods Eggnog.
It comes in a carton. All of the flavors they offer are nice, but the sugar cookie eggnog is pure goodness.
We have lived allover the country, and this is one of the best eggnogs I have ever had.
The best is Moovers eggnog. It comes in cute little Santa and Mrs Santa Claus containers. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find them since the last time we moved

Have you had a custard ice cream cone? It tastes like that, rich and creamy, but with spice overtone -- clove, cinnamon, nutmeg.
