Tried Harris Teeter last year and the kids said they were gross. They were right. I was horrified after I tasted it.

What approved places have decent cupcakes?
I'd even drive up to the new Wegmans if that was the best option.

Costco? (Not trying to find the cheapest but Costco stuff is usually pretty good)


I never understood why parents send all that crap to school! Cupcakes are full of sugar and if you get them from Safeway, giant...the list of ingredients is way too long to be healthy.

Wegman's won't certify that their baked goods are nut-free, if that's part of the concern. At least, not at the one by me.

Yes, you can order no frosting at Giant. Did this once for a decorating project.

Wow, that is new. I am only two years removed from Rosemary Hills and that was not the case with my daughter's class - site of the "Georgetown" story above.

You can do something other than cupcakes. My son took moon pies from Trader Joe's in one year and they were a hit. Costco has black & white cookies that are delicious. There are any number of things that would do the job other than cupcakes.
