I loved it when I was a kid but later I realized that what I really loved was the melted butter I dipped it in. Lobster is good, though I can't say anymore that I adore it.

I adore melted butter.

Like all shellfish, the key is to not overcook it. Lobster is very delicious. The lobster roll place in Penn Quarter is affiliated with a lobster fishery in Maine (was in the Post) and seems to have a good supply chain. I would buy from them.

This. Now that I think about it, is it really the butter that's delish?

Butter in known to bring out the natural taste in foods like bread, corn, potatoes

Certainly. But I've never been eating a boiled lobster and thought "Man I wish this was boiled potatoes with butter on it."

Rookie. Anyone who has spend any time at all in Maine knows the knuckle meat is by far the best.

I'm not a fan of chains but I guarantee Legal Seafood is cooking fresh lobster and I guarantee their lobster is at least somewhat above average, so its a pretty safe place to try your first one.

I have never tasted an inedible lobster. It's on my last meal list.

It is definitely similar to crab legs though I like lobster much better. I would also try it I. A restaurant first or the process of eating it will turn you off (even if giant dreams it for you, cracking it with no knowledge of how to do it will be a put off; if you eat it at home , invite a New Englander over to help.

It's sort of similar but meatier with a distinct lobster taste. I love lobster but I think that I love snow crab legs even more.

It is technically an insect...or is that just crab?
