There is a book called "Granny's Gang (Life with a most unusual family of owls" written by Katherine (Kate) McKeever. From a description:
Book Description: Greey de Pencier Books, Canada, 1984. Soft cover. Book Condition: Fine -. Olena Kassian (illustrator). **signed by Author** on bottom of title page. Kate McKeever devotes her life to owls. She rescues them, shelters them, nurses them, releases them. She is a founder and director of the Owl Research and Rehabilitation Foundation in Vineland, Ontario, and author of the children's book, A Family For Minerva.
So maybe you are thinking of this book, or of her children's book A Family for Minerva, written in 1980? She has written several books about owls and owl sanctuaries, and she founded and directed the one referenced above.
Good luck!
THAT'S IT!!! I was thinking of "Granny's Gang" and the cover you posted is cover I remember from the book I used to borrow from the library. Thank you so much - you're amazing!

Not sure, because the cover and title don't ring a bell, but this might be it? I'm going to try to find a copy in the library. One of the Amazon reviews mentions that it has a chapter called "The Owl Quartet" so maybe that's what I'm remembering.
