Not me but my parents just decided not to drive down fro PA. Rain isn't much better than snow for them as far as driving goes. Still expect the family from VA to come so we are good. More pie for all!

I really do not think the drive to Raleigh will be that bad. We had been planning on doing it late late Wed night in hopes that our infant will sleep through the drive. Not changing those plans.

I was planning to drive to Pittsburgh on Friday. Will it still be bad?

We were going to be driving to Cleveland Wednesday morning, but are considering just leaving early on Thursday.

So when's the best day/time to drive north to NJ? This sucks.

That is all about to turn to ice. It just takes a temp drop of a few degrees and "just wet" turns into "really slippery and dangerous." We'd have to go through Penn or WV to see the inlaws in Ohio. Cancelled.

I understand it is not bad on I95 or the eastern seaboard. How is it going through the mountains (Hagerstown - Pittsburgh - Cleveland)? Will it really just wet through there tomorrow AM? Really not looking to be getting stuck in the cold on the PA turnpike with two toddlers...

You don't need to cancel, folks. Just drive slower. It's mostly rain.

It looks like heading up 95 should be fine - problems are in the mountains - western PA and WV.
