Bagels, cream cheese, smoked salmon for breakfast. Sushi or pb&j for lunch. We eat dinner at six because we don't have family traveling to consider.

The only holiday I do a cooked breakfast for is Easter. We hide the colored eggs around the house right before the kids get up, the kids find them, and I make scotch eggs.

We eat at 2, so lunch isn't a concern. I make my family graze for breakfast, we don't do anything formal.

Breakfast is something really simple. Coffee and cinnamon rolls, cereal, bagels,....

We're eating at 2pm, so lunch will be appetizers.

Breakfast is cinnamon rolls. Dinner is at 1 pm so that's lunch. Then real dinner is the second round of thanksgiving food and desserts!

But my mom also set out crudités and dips to snack on during meal prep which works as "lunch" if you're eating later. Cheese and crackers and veggies and dip would be a fine light lunch before the heavy dinner.

My family has a strong tradition. Breakfast is pilsbury orange rolls. We have ruffled chips and dip for snacks. And we do a lot of "taste testing" of food as we cook - mostly the deviled eggs and potato salad. Classy lot we are.
