Good riddance!
I could not have said it better. I'm shocked at the small few of you who are being supportive of the brat of a daughter.

Mom just wants to wash her hands of her. So sad.
Exactly. So many rich, poor and middle-class children are being neglected very early on. They get constant streams of new sitters/day care workers/nannies. It's epidemic in this area. It's horrifying. We have our priorities screwed up. Little children require stable and consistent care.
Why do you think they're raging?

The fact that she will lose her status and can never come back to the US doesn't sound strange to you?
She was never a US citizen to begin with.
That's what's odd about it. Her mom could have adjusted Sofia's status as a dependent.
Her mother doesn't want her back. She was a pain in the ass teenager and her mother sent her to live with her father. Lots of divorced parents send kids to live with the other parent, her other parent just happens to be in the far white north.
She never knew this father and they don't even speak the same language. And apparently he's an abusive drunk...
They do speak the same language. Have you watched the girl's you tube videos? She speaks Russian. She didn't when she first got there but she speaks it now. Plus she doesnt live with her father. She stays in a youth hostel and works in another town.
Are you related to the mother? Because you're not even making sense.
Yes, the girl learned Russian to survive but that doesn't change the fact that her mother sent her to live with an abusive man she didn't know who didn't even speak her language.

She believes her immigration lawyer step dad is behind all this. Isn't this child abuse? She's a minor and living on her own in Siberia!
Isn't it a violation of some sort for an attorney to use his knowledge this way?
