It is usually pretty easy to get a forbearance on your student loan, so call them up and you should be able to free up a little money for the next few months.
In the long term, you are way underpaid. Entry-level admin staff are paid significantly more than you. Look for another job, and for the time being get a second job. Yes, you won't have as much time to have fun, but it is no fun being broke anyway.

OK, how much is your rent? Is it going to go up when you move to the new apartment? How much credit card debt do you have, and are you working on paying that off at all?
It sounds like $25K is not going to cut it... and if you're in DC, that's no surprise. It's ridiculously expensive here. If you can get a better paying job, do that. If not, get a second job. Retail, bartending, waiting tables. It sounds like income is more of a problem than high expenses.

Agree with the advice, plus it's a fun and festive thing to do, but in this case, depending on the cost of your rent at the new apartment, I would not buy gifts with your paycheck, I don't think you can afford it. Giving gifts is lots of fun, but there will be other years for you to have that opportunity.

you maxed ouy your CCs and are concerned about christmas gifts??
as others have said, you need to find a part time job to make more money. but you also need to learn not to spend more than you have. you never live on CCs, you should pay them off every month, unless there is an absolute emergency. if you do not have money to buy something, you do not buy it. how much are you paying in CC interests? see how much you paid in 2013 total in CC interests, and you will see how many things you could have bought with that money instead of giving it to the CC companies.
so, definitely, no Christmas gifts this year, not even one, unless you bake some cookies yourself. really learn to be responsible with your money, or you will destroy your life

Why do you have a car? Get rid of it.
Do not buy any Christmas gifts. If you go out to a bar with your friends, don't order any drinks. Just drink freewater. If your parents want you to come home for Christmas, they will have to pay. Otherwise, stay home and watch home for the holidays.
