For what it's worth I had horrible acne as a teen (even went on Accutane in the early 90s, when it wasn't that common)... through my 20s... and one child. FOr some reason, with child#2 (could be that she was conceived via IVF) I had acne at the beginning of that pregnancy and now 5 years later it's still but all disappeared.

I'm 43 and if I dont stick to my Clinique Acne routine, I'll have a face full of breakouts. With a combination of dry/oily skin.

49. The only thing that keeps my adult breakouts in check are Trader Joe's cleansing pads with witch hazel.

On accutane right now. What a difference.

Pro-active is the most amazing stuff I have ever seen.

My son had acne so severe he didn't even want to attend school...It broke my heart and we had no health insurance so he couldn't see a dermatologist.
As a X-mas gift, I purchased him a set of Pro-active because he had wanted it SO bad...Even more than a video game set. I didn't have much faith in it. I thought it was a scam...I have seen many infomercials on T.V. about skincare products and never believed in them.

Well after just 2 weeks in, his skin cleared up 50%! Now he is in the clear!!

Honestly, this stuff is amazing. It has given me my son back and has given my son his life and confidence back. And no...I am not being paid a dime to say all of this. Lol.

The only downfall is that you have to order it through the mail and that if you do stop using it, your acne does return.

But overall, it's a great investment.

Could it be rosacea? I would see a dermatologist.

I have an aunt who still gets pimples and she is in her 60s!!! Her skin is insanely oily, which is the issue, and she also has an allergic reaction to almost any product and can't wear perfume even. No wrinkles is the silver lining here, and it's an awfully good one!!

i'll have acne till i'm dead. I've just come to accept it.

even after i'im dead, my corpse probably will develop acne.

Had no pimples in my teens and 20s. Hit my 30s and got pimples. Not bad just a few here and there (mostly with my period). I remember my most recent birthday I had a big honking one (I just turned 36) I was like hello face I am 36 not 16

It's a spray cleaner you can use on your powder brushes to get the surface crap off. Sephora's brand is good (see it here) and so is elf's (found here or at Target). I have used the regular shampoo on my brushes and it worked fine (probably because I use a moisturizing formula). Some people use baby shampoo or Dawn, but they were too drying and left my brushes feeling scratchy. Now I just use elf's Brush Shampoo. It's $3 bucks and gets all the gunk out. Sephora has a brush shampoo too; It's not bad either.
