Do you mean Anglicans from Britain, or the part of the Episcopalian church that wants to break away/has broken away because or ordaining gays and women? Because I was born and raised Episcopalian, and I've never seen this Catholic hate.
Funny, I'm the OP and we were raised Episcopalian. My mother is the queen of the catholic haters and told me almost from the day I could walk what was wrong with the Catholic Church. Sin all week and just go to confession. Never go to a catholic doctor if I were pregnant, because in an emergency, he would save the baby and let me die. Those types of things..,
And I find the Catholic bashing odd, mostly because all the Catholics I know in real life and nice, normal, middle of the road people. I may not agree with religion in general, but the Catholics I know are very nice.
