It's cold. And the undergrads leave town in late spring, which is when the weather becomes really nice.

Visiting now would give a sense of what it's like there. Winters are long. You're not near much but it had an airport. It's a school where you'd mainly stick to campus rather than spend most of your time in the surrounding city.

I think the terms "isolated" and "very cold" are relative. I'd see a place like Carleton College, Bowdoin, or Potsdam that way. Not U of R.


Well, duh. And if you're from southern Florida, GW will seem cold.

Most people think U of R is very cold. There are underground tunnels between buildings (though not dorms for security reasons).
