Are you saying they have adult chaperones at parties where teens are drinking alcohol? That seems like a recipe for disaster (and legal liability).
They are talking about beach week. Many parents set up these type of rules for beach week and many parents will have parents chaperone, sometimes rotating in and out during the week.
Most seniors from public and private schools do this. Many parents buy their kids alcohol for the week so they don't have to get caught using fake id's.
Just ask anybody you know whose kids went to beach week and they will confirm.
I'm afraid that I can NOT confirm this. The behavior you describe is both irresponsible and illegal.

You are sticking your head in the sand then. Most of your friends that have had seniors have allowed this. If you choose not to believe it, that is your problem.
