Bought a super expensive Apple Pie here this summer - AWFUL! How can a pie store, that charges a small fortune, screw up an Apple Pie????
Never going back. Going to try the recommendations here though. I sure wish the cupcake craze would die and get replaced by a pie craze!!

Moms apple pie in Leesburg. I drive an hour to get their pies...amazing!
I also found a great place in Arlington. They sometimes have their pies for sale at the Clarendon farmers market.
It's called Livin the Pie Life and the owner couldn't be any nicer! Pies were delicious!
