I can assure you of one thing...if it had been your kid you would have been proud about such a showing. Do you really need to steal the thunder of teenage girls for getting such an accomplishment...especially given the fact it is really unusual still on It's Academic to have an AA team captain.

Still seems a bit silly to post this -- if nothing else, because DCUM is so snarky and it seems such an insular post. Talk about it in the carpool line or on the sidelines of the soccer field. Maybe if they win "It's Academic" outright it's worth a post (and maybe they will, or maybe they just came up against a couple of sacrificial lamb teams).
