Your house sounds like mine when I was a kid. Lasagna, meatballs in the crock pot for either pasta or subs, BBQ pork/chicken in crock pot, stuffed shells, tacos, baked ziti, burgers/hotdogs, chicken and dumplings, big chicken stir fries, make their own pizzas.

Chili? With all those eggs, an enormous frittata with some meat, shredded potatoes, and onions would work, if they would eat it.

Get a hot dog roller, then set it and forget it!

You could do a homemade version of Chipotle - big pot of rice, tortillas, beans and veggies.

Last weekend I was super low on groceries so I just made about 50 pancakes and 2 dozen eggs...it was a surprisingly big hit.

Great ideas!

When you have teenagers, you keep a lot of staples.

You were low on groceries, but had 2 dozen eggs? What constitutes a stocked pantry for you?

Wow, take it easy. Not the PP, but I'm pretty sure she meant she just had the staples most people usually have in the fridge and no meat/veggies etc.

I frequently have 2 dozen eggs if I buy the big pack from Costco.. eggs keep forever.
