Uh, I don't think you want to base your home purchase on answers you get here. It's not like there is a research study on this, and you'll just get an answer or two based on anecdotal evidence. I've seen that this can vary greatly by teacher and grade, and can change drastically with school administration turnover.

Also meet with the counselor and ask about social skills groups. They offer them at my DC's FCPS. I'm considering them for DC, but haven't acted yet so can't say how the are. Good luck finding the right fit for your DC!

we are in the Woodson pyramid too and from what I have seen situations are being handled appropriately. also, the elementary schools are smaller, fairly diverse and seem to have involved parents.
