Agreed. Talking about fat thighs and small breasts, could anything be more misogynistic when we're talking about a possible presidential candidate? It would be like me suggesting that Boehner has a small penis. If I did such a thing people would be outraged. OTOH, making fun of a middle aged woman is always hilarious to the small minded.
Lots of jokes are made about men and their anatomy. What about the numerous jokes about Anthony Weiner even if he invited them? How about the jokes about Chris Christie? When it comes to women how about the knocks against Michelle Bachmann and her appearance or those against Janet Reno when she was AG.
Where I will agree with you is that women get more focus than men when it comes to appearance. But as a Hillary supporter, it does not bother me a bit. I was amused and family members and friends (both male and female) - all strong supporters of HRC - who heard the joke were amused as well and not one person thought it was offensive. The reason is simple: when one is in the public eye you become the focus of jokes. It goes with the territory.

For her to get the nomination, people have to feel like Obama was a huge success. So much of her career is tied to the outcome of his administration. If the economy is doing great, yeah maybe. If not, she's an academic, an Obama appointee and a single term senator.

Two-term Senator.
How can she be two terms? She was elected in 2012. Her first term would not be up until 2018.

Egad, did the market speak?
Did you mean Republicans?
