And I somewhat agree with you on Bush 41, who would have to run as a Democrat now. But you know his dad was a Yale graduate and two-term Senator from Connecticut, right? I give you the genuine war hero, but not on the other stuff.

Always reward growth and change. He took a step forward, and if more Republicans do it this issue will be done. We just need to set aside our other frustrations and applaud a positive step forward.

Yes, they would. And I don't have "standards" about this. I was simply disabusing PP of the entirely incorrect notion that George H.W. Bush was self-made. He, like his sons, was born on third. The difference is that he didn't think he hit a triple.
