Suggest removing 2nd row single seat to allow easy access to third row and leave the double seat in middle row.

If you are into luxury I like my Mercedes R350 and really don't know why they stopped selling new models in the US last year. (It's is popular in the UK and Canada) it has 3 rows seating and does not look like a van.

Only complaint with the Merz is that luggage room is small when using all three rows

No, you can't fold down the center of the second row for a kid in the third row to see through.

Question for those with a car seat in the center. I put my Diono Radian RXT rear facing in the center of my 2014 MDX using the angle adjuster and was super pleased with the installation. That is, until I sat in the drivers seat. The car seat is blocking about 75% of the view from the rear view mirror! How do people deal with this? Or is everyone either putting their rear facing seats on the sides or forward facing in the center? I just don't see how a rear facing car seat in the center position would work.

does the back of the center seat fold down in the the 2014 Acura MDX? allowing a small child in the third row the ability to see through so there isn't such a wall of seating in front of them??? It appears the beverage section does but I'm wondering if the whole back does? So it looks like captains chairs ( but not really )... I realize it isn't available in captains. Which stinks!

You can fit 2 radians in the second row - in the seats behind the driver & in the middle - leaving the 3rd seat (small foldable section) free, but I can see how captain's seats would make it easier for someone to get back to the 3rd row.
