Absolutely invite him. I have many friends who are priests and they run the range of personalities. Some are quiet, and some are boisterous but they are all regular men who like to be treated as "normal." And they can drink just as much or as little as anyone else! I went out to dinner recently with my best gay male friend and a favorite young priest. We all had a great conversation and no awkwardness - because both guys are respectful and non-judgmental.
