ITA that Wesleyan is not very preppy - too crunchy!

Funny, I always thought it would be preppy. Kind of the place that prep school lacrosse players would go? But I guess my assumption is wrong. What's the true insight.

Try the second and third tier SLACs like Trinity, Hamilton and St. Lawrence. All are super preppy and have Greek life.

OP, how do you/your DD define true prep? Intellectual or lifestyle/clothing? The old time preppy colleges have gotten to be pretty competitive/nerdy and not very preppy. A lot of people who consider themselves preppy, but not in an intellectual way, go to southern schools with big greek life. Posters have listed the relatively short list of schools that have both.

So disagree. What is a "true prep"? I mean seriously are you the expert now on prep protocol? She is asking for advice and there is no one who should or shouldn't ask it. Such an ignorant comment.
