I don't think we kissed every day even at the beginning of our relationship. I'm not a huge fan of kissing -- we actually don't French kiss at all anymore. I probably get a goodbye peck 3 out of 5 days of the workweek and there is some kissing when we have sex, but that is about it. If I'm feeling affectionate, I'm much more likely to hug than kiss. Married (happily) 9 years, 3 children.

But I guess it is really about what is normal for you (which is not to say that it's not okay for normal to gradually change over time). My DH texts every day before he leaves work so that I know when to expect him home -- he works pretty long hours and his departure time isn't consistent -- and I would be upset if he didn't do it one day because it is such a part of our routine.

Nope.

OP - I'm sensitive to changes, too. I can imagine some instances in which no kiss wouldn't bother me a bit, others in which I'd be sure it meant something is wrong. Are you getting a feeling one way or another?

We do, but I initiate as much as he does. You want a kiss then go kiss him!

Can't imagine being shocked by it.

We almost always kiss goodbye in the morning but need to get better about kissing hello when he gets home from work...it's a hectic hour with the kids. We usually kiss goodnight, but not if we're distracted or wiped out. We kiss just for the heck of it sometimes too, but not every day.

We always kiss "Good-bye" when we go to work, but if there is someone else there...like a new person (I.e., Nanny, Maid, etc.), we tend not to.

Why are you shocked?

If it was only one day, I am sure it is no big deal.

However, if it starts happening on a much regular basis, then I would start to get worried...........

Yes true. But he got home around 8pm, went to bed at 1am and still no kiss

So kiss him yourself!

I like coming up to my DW and grabbing her ass or her boobs. That's more fun.

Yes - the g'bye, welcome home and bedtime peck daily.

Wish there were some more passionate kisses - even just occasionally - but it's something.

Yes I do. I'm surprised at the amount of people who do not. I have severe issues involving physical contact that have not gotten better and on some days want nothing to do with any physical contact. We still kiss every day.
