Our monthly net is 11k. Our mortgage is $2200 with prop tax included but our daycare expenses are astronimcal. we pay $4500 all in between nanny and private. Make of that what you will. We look forward to next year when that drops to under around a grand (aftercare only)

Look at your monthly discretionary spending each month. How much would you have to cut into that to afford the house
