At a U.S. Open, you would root for a foreigner over an American USA citizen. I bet all the people in Belarus were cheering for Azarenka, and never considered cheering for the gal from the other country. Only in the USA.

Actually I DID notice that too and thought it was an odd reaction given that her 20 something year old daughter just won her umpteenth grand slam and prize money at nearly 4 million. The camera obviously thought it was worth showing too. And for the record, I am a fan of The very talented Williams sisters (not so much their fashion sense hehe)
