Ditto. I have worked in the same place for 23+ . No one there knows that I was raised as a JW, no one.

Ditto again. (Ditto ditto. Or something) This was my experience in my office, also a very liberal office, for 5-6 years. In the past few years, though, a few Catholics have joined the staff. I'm not Catholic myself, but finally I can talk about my Christian religion with these people, at least! It's a pleasure.

Of course I don't feel "persecuted" in the bigger scheme of things. But if the question is, is their any shame/reticence in the office, then the answer is "yes" for me, too.

I'm a seventh day Adventist. i don't eat pork, or drink alcohol and the sabbath is on Saturday. I believe the whole bible not just certain parts.

I am not religious. Since last year the administration changed. and our current (principal, a.p., specialists, TA's) are all Adventists.
Nothing is straight forward any more. Everything is implied. I was first trying to read between the lines to figure what exactly was I being told, but after finding out time after time again that I was being misinformed, I came to believe I was being set up for failure.
One of my protestent coworker told me that many other Christians consider Adventists to be a cult who do not accept people from the Middle East unless they are from Israel.
If this is the case, I would like to know why this is so.

Really? You think you could lose your job for being a Christian? Against the law, I think.
