I'd like it. Can always use a nip or tuck here and there.

you sound like a keeper

Actually, I am a keeper precisely because I would tolerate any man suggesting that I need to mutilate my body to attractive. I am not opposed to plastic surgery (I had a post baby TT), but it has to be because a woman (or man) wants it and not because his or her significant other things it is necessary for them to attractive or reach some ideal. We all get older and no matter how much we exercise, eat right and take care of ourselves the effects of time show up. Any spouse who expect the other to turn back time via surgery is an asshole. OP doesn't state what his motivation is for suggesting this for his wife, but if it is for any reason other than she wants it for herself, he doesn't deserve her.

This is the only way you can hope for this to be successful. Test the waters on this several times before deciding to make the purchase or you risk some very serious wrath.

Out of the blue? I'd be upset!
If he knew I wanted some work done, I'd be thrilled!

Ay many who thinks his wife needs a money makeover is an ass and doesn't deserve her. If a woman chooses surgery for herself that is another story. The men I know who might propose such a thing should take a look in the mirror.

I would be really excited - but I've mentioned to my husband things I'd like to have done. If nothing has ever been mentioned, then it might be offensive.

I wouldn't be upset, but I wouldn't want to spend the money on it either.

I got new tits for my birthday! I had wanted them for so long after I finished breastfeeding my last child. Both DH and I are home today working and I'm running around braless in my tight white tank top and it is driving him nuts. We love it. Best present ever.

all depends on whether or not it has been discussed.

Out of the blue, expect all the hostility that is on display.
if it something that has been talked about. you definitely will get a better response.

Also since it is not a pair of shoes, do a LOT of research before buying it.
