I would not be serving so alcoholic beverages at a baby shower. If the guests cannot go without alcohol for 2-3 hours then they have serious problems

It's also a partial display shower so I won't be opening gifts all day. We did the same thing with my bridal shower / same # of people and it was a lovely day.
