No offense but how is that important.Important is a c level job, or executive in charge of the entire fcps. Most school administration is on break and able to apply.
My employer keeps the staff accountant openings for 2 months, but FCPS think 1 week is enough to collect applications for a principal. The school has close to a thousand students, so of course the role is important.

"An online job posting went "live" on Tuesday at midnight and will remain open until next Tuesday."
Do you think it's ok to keep such an important job listed for only 1 week during the most popular vacation time? Or does it seem that the candidate has already been selected internally and the posting is now almost fake?

I think people were told that DC is a jobs mecca and flooded here. Now the market is quite saturated.
