I'd choose the QB the same way most people choose presidents: the better-looking guy wins. In this case, it's RGIII all the way. I hate pretty boy Brady.

RGIII is all talk. I doubt he will even play much this year as I predict an early injury.

No brainer does not mean, "act as if you have no brain."

Tom Brady is a first ballot Hall of Famer, on the short list of greatest quarterbacks of all time. He is unquestionably in the top 10, and you can make a strong case that he is in the top 5. He is a 2-time MVP (and could have had another 2), a 3-time Super Bowl champ, and a 2-time Super Bowl MVP. He has two of the top 10 best seasons ever (by QBR), and in 2007 had the greatest season by a QB - ever.

RGIII has been in the league one year. One. He had a very good year. But he is in the very beginning of his career, has never won a playoff game, and has a lot to learn as a passer. To compare him to one of the all-time greats is just preposterous. He may turn out to be very good; he may turn out to be great; he may even turn out to be better than Brady.

And before anyone accuses me of being some Patriots homer, I am a current season-ticket holder of the New York Jets, I have a picture of the Mookie Wilson-Bill Buckner play up on my office wall, and I generally find Boston sports fans (and teams) among the most irritating on the planet. There's probably about 72 people on the planet who hate the Patriots more than I do, and I'm related to 5 of them. But neither am I an idiot (although some would argue that being a Jets season ticket holder calls that into question - but that's another conversation). If you are the head coach of a football team, and can have Tom Brady in his prime, there's really nothing more to discuss, unless the other names being thrown around are Montana, Unitas, Elway, Manning, Favre, or Marino. Redskins fans really are hilarious.

I can't decide if it's homerism, rose-colored glasses, or outright insanity, but it really is funny.

Glad I could clear that up for you.

Get back in the kitchen.

Nice try. I went to Central Catholic with Dan Marino. We're required to hate Brady.

Are you required to hate all quarterbacks with a Super Bowl ring (or three).
