Not sure if it all comes this way, but last time I saw some, with the ingredients listed out, pork salivary glands were listed. I would never have figured spit glands could be so delicious.
PP you should try the Portuguese Chorico, it's delicious. It's basically marinated pork with garlic, wine, paprika,with an artificial casing. You can take the casing off. You can get some at Euro Market on N. Pershing in Arlington. Also, you may want to try sweet Diablo just off M Street.
