Urinating almost always triggers a BH contraction for me. Has done since ~22 weeks. Dr. said not to worry about it.

The growth of your uterus shifts the placement of other organs around and the ligaments and muscles that hold the bladder in place also suffer with the pressure, if it gets too full you'll stretch the muscles more. The lesser you wait to empty it the lesser you'll feel the pressure in the area since the muscles won't be stretched to their limits.
In the beginning it was pretty annoying but now that I can see the results it's totally worth it.


Same problem for me. The longer is wait to empty, the more it hurts

Iam 14 weeks pregnant I have the same symptom abdominal pain with urination and during bowl movement sharp pain .i had the same symptoms in my first pregnancy lasting afew weeks.

I had cramps and trace amount of blood when pregnant. Had small kidney stones.

Yes, I had these and my doc said the same. All was well with me and baby (who is now almost 2). Now pregnant with DC2 and have these cramps too.

I guess I'm not the only one this happens to, I thought I was just weird but I also get abdominal cramping when I pee but unlike most of you I'm not pregnant. I guess I will have to speak to my doctor to find out what's going on

Ok... I don't have a UTI.. the craps feel like a painfull stretch. When I start using the bathroom and afterwords I have to sit there for a sec and do some easy slow deep breaths to feel normal . I can't rule out pregnancy yet because I'm tech not late.. guess if it continues ill have to make an appointment to see a doc

yeah, i have tightening, pressure cramping as well since the begininng of the second tri. it appears sometimes after i drink liquids and then sporadically as my bladder is full or empties. i thought they were contractions for a bit.

i have pressure when i pee i know it is not a UTI i had it before but the pressure is still there i woke up with it this morning and im worried i dont know if i am pregnant i have all most all of the signs and if i was i would only be a few weeks... could this pressure be harming the baby? its scaring me

When you have a braxton hicks contraction, you often feel an intense urge to pee. is it possible you are in the middle of a contraction while trying to pee?
