Same here, though we are basically between Williamsburg and Lee Harrison. You could walk to metro if you wanted or take a quick bus. It's a great neighborhood. New construction is typically $1.4-$1.6. I know there is one for sale now on Lexington. Two more are being built that I know of on John Marshall and Nottingham.

Not OP but new Arlington resident asking a dumb question... what boundaries (in general) define these neighborhoods? I'm really just curious as I hear all the various neighborhood names bandied about I feel clueless not knowing what is where.

Very close to Washington-Lee HS. Ballston. We had friends over here that liked the neighborhood.

This one is cute (aside from weird fridge selection). Further walk to Ballston, but you have all of those Cherrydale shops (hardware store, yoga, tea shop, etc.).

This one is in a great location - Lyon Park right by a nice playground. There are some cosmetic things that are a little funny, but it's worth a look IMO just based on location. Great neighborhood - tons of kids and friendly neighbors. Hopefully that espresso machine conveys.

I think they would all offer a bit of what you are looking for. I would just focus your search based on price and distance/walk time to Metro and see what pops up.


With the exception of the house on Taylor, those homes are just hideous. Do you people have no taste whatsoever?


We, the people of Arlington, do not have any taste at all. Not even a tiny bit. Just makes life a little easier.




(unfortunately, the new houses being built in Arlington leave a lot to be desired)

Lacey Lane lots have been subdivided and engineered bit houses are nit being built. Lots are being flipped
