Can someone explain to me the "Landon's Varsity Lacrosse Team, ... won national championships in 1999, 2001, and 2002"

There is a High School Lacrosse National Championship game?

No, but there is a local and provincial lacrosse area championship for the non athlete or football cast off.

With a mere, piddly $30 million endowment vs $30 billion for Harvard. Even little Groton school has a $300 million endowment.
Washington, D.C. is in big trouble if Sidwell is the Harvard of Washington private schools. There must be a boat load of shitty private schools in Washington, D.C.

I like Bullis, but this is ridiculous. Bullis is trying to become the Wisconsin of DC private schools: solid academics and strong athletics in a few sports, plus great parties and a useful alumni network.

lol...

I'm surprised that the sentence "But Sidwell has long been described by some as the Harvard of Washington’s private schools. " made it past the NY Times editors - who are the "some?"

Just for fun, of course.

One thing is certain, anyone who thinks HYP are fungible hasn't spent much time around H,Y or P.
