Homemade. It's stupid easy and everyone will think you are some kind of genius. The easiest version is a cookie crust in a springform pan topped with contrasting ice cream layers and crushed oreos. Decorate the top with chocolate or whipped cream or almonds plus the bday girl or boy's name.

I'm a fan of baskin Robbins, but there is more cake - which I like.

Cake, bleah. I've never had a good ice cream cake with actual cake that tasted good. I'm sure they exist.
